Rusty Updegraff's tattoo on the back of his neck comes from a memory that he shared with me about his mama, Katie Murphy Updegraff:
Rusty said, "When I was upset or sad or needed a little boost of self esteem she would hold my face in her hands and put her face up to mine and say 'Hey, YOUR KATIE MURPHY'S BOY and don't forget it!' As if that was the highest compliment I could get...which it was!"
