When I was little, my mother was a fan of Nina Ricci, but it was nothing like this. Designer British-born Peter Copping has evolved this French house into the best of both cultures. It is trés pretty, lady, with a dose of wit. The collection is beautiful and these five SCREAMED my name. Love the LENGTH [being a lady means no flashing the hooha, Britney]; love the DRAPINESS and the muted palette. It's all so sexy in an aloof, don't-talk-to-me-until-you-have-a-real-job-Loser way.
